Registered Massage Therapist

Corbett McCabe

Corbett McCabe, RMT, graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC in 2010 with a diploma in Massage Therapy. Corbett began his massage career in Revelstoke, BC until moving to the Okanagan and opening West Kelowna Massage Therapy in 2016. Since then partnering with his wife Nikki McCabe, they renamed the clinic West Kelowna Massage Therapy and BodyTalk.

Corbett is very treatment-oriented and his practice mainly focuses on Integrated Fascial Techniques (IFT). These include Myofascial, Cranial Sacral Therapy, and Visceral Therapy. Corbett has studied and completed a three year IFT series under his mentor and friend Natale Rao since 2010, as well as a one year intensive Osteopathic course through MOCC (Manual Osteopathic College of Canada). He is also currently and instructor of Massage Therapy and Osteopathy with both school he graduated from, Corbett can help you with acute or chronic injuries, digestive issues, women’s health (primarily uterus and bladder), musculoskeletal dysfunction, and post-concussion syndrome. His technique combines deep fascial
releases and osteopathic manual therapy techniques.

He believes in helping you find the right therapy for your body, whether that means a different approach, a different RMT, or a different therapy altogether. Corbett is passionate about what he does and his goal is to get you the help you need to make the fastest recovery possible and to become strong and stay healthy. However it wont be your typical massage therapy treatment! He does not use oils or lotions and may have you up and down off the table testing and re-testing, trying to figure out the root of your issue. For this reason and your comfort, all clients remain partially clothed during the treatments which he will explain prior to your first
treatment.

Corbett grew up mainly in the prairies, graduating from the First Nations University of Canada and the University of Regina with a BA, in indigenous studies. Before becoming and RMT he spent many years working for the City of Regina and Ranch Ehrlo Society, taking care of young people. Throughout his life sports was integral to his upbringing, playing hockey, football, wrestling and Lacrosse, as well as later in life beginning Judo. Today living in West Kelowna with his always busy family, he believes in and promotes consistent moderation. He is looking forward to helping you.
